How to get to Punta del Este from Carrasco International Airport (Montevideo)?
Welcome to Uruguay! If your destination is the beautiful city of Punta del Este, here we explain the available options to get there from Carrasco International Airport (MVD), located just outside Montevideo.

Suggested route: Interbalnearia Route (Route IB) eastbound. The road is direct, well-signposted, and in good condition.
